Our agency provides help to the elderly
residents who live in all areas of
Highlands County, including the towns
of Avon Park, Sebring, Lake Placid,
Lorida, Venus, and the Kissimmee
River area in the far east of the county.

Our mission is to lead our community in promoting the
independence, dignity, health and well-being of our elder
citizens. Plan, seek funds and administer home and
community based services and to advocate for the needs
and concerns of the elderly residents of Highlands County.

The eldercare services and home delivered meal program
provided through our agency are funded primarily
through Federal, State, and local governmental grants,
community grants, community donations, fundraising
events, and proceeds from sales at our thrift stores.
