How You Can Help
NU-HOPE Elder Care Services, Inc. (NU-HOPE) could not offer all of its programs and services without additional support from the community. Each donation, whether in the form of dollars, time or items for our thrift store, helps our agency to continue services and expand our programs to reach a greater number of seniors.
You, too, can help our efforts by…
Donating
NU-HOPE gratefully accepts donations from individuals, organizations, and businesses, regardless of the amount. All gifts truly make a difference. We are also grateful for those who include NU-HOPE and the needs of seniors in their estate planning. While today’s needs are substantial, the future promises to pose an even greater challenge.
Volunteering
The donation of time is truly valuable. There are many ways that an individual can help support our efforts. Opportunities are available for assisting in our thrift stores, providing activities at our meal sites, delivering meals, doing administrative paperwork, and helping with our web site, newsletters, and fundraisers. Please contact our administrative offices for more details.
Supporting our Thrift Stores
Sales from our thrift stores help to fund the services that we provide to the seniors in our community.
We are always in need of donations of quality, usable items which can be sold in our stores. Furniture, clothing, household goods and working appliances are always in high demand. If needed, NU-HOPE may be able to pick up items that you wish
to donate.
Supporting Seniors…Strengthening Communities
Your support means a great deal to the organization, but it means even more to the seniors who we serve. By ensuring that seniors have access to the services that they need, you are helping them to maximize their independence, remain safely at home and avoid unnecessary institutionalization.
However, your support actually benefits a much larger group. Our entire community is affected by the needs of its seniors. Spouses, family members, employers, government agencies and local organizations struggle daily to ensure that seniors receive needed care. Your support helps us to provide this assistance. For that, our agency and our community, thanks you.
