To provide financial support for our mission, NU-HOPE operates two thrift stores.  Items sold at these thrift stores are contributed by local business owners and residents.  Dedicated volunteers assist the management in the daily operations of the store and are vital to their success.

Proceeds from the thrift stores are used to match grant dollars received by our agency and to increase the number of people who are able to receive our services.  This funding is essential.  Without it, our agency would be unable to provide our services to those in need.

Individuals who wish to support elder services are encouraged to donate clean and usable items to the stores.  Should you be unable to bring items in, we may be able to pick them up.

You may also assist our efforts by volunteering at one of our thrift stores. Volunteers help in a variety of ways such as sorting items, arranging merchandise on shelves and helping with sales.  Please contact us if you would like to know more about how you can assist us!
